Mason Football Drops to 1-8 After Loss to Clarke County

The George Mason Mustang varsity football team fell to 1-8 on the season with a 41-7 loss at the rival Clarke County Eagles on Friday night. The lone Mustangs highlight was a second quarter touchdown pass from sophomore quarterback Grant Hagler to senior tight end Dimitrios Venets.

The Mustangs will finish the 2011 season with another road game this Friday night when they will play against the Manassas Park Cougars. The Cougars are 4-4 on the season coming into this game.
