Augustus Wilhelm von Schwarz is affectionately known as “Gus.” Gus is a miniature long-haired Dachshund (German badger dog) known and loved by many in his condo community. Being “half-a-dog high” and “two-dogs long,” Gus is well built to flush badgers from the underbrush.

However, since badgers are few and far between in Falls Church, Gus has re-directed his attention to searching out yummy bully sticks and doggie treats. Digging pillows out of the sofa is an amusing pastime. This lively puppy can be spotted on his many walks through The Little City.
