Mason Ice Hockey Team to Host Sept. 30 Tryouts

Coming off an undefeated spring season, the George Mason High School ice hockey team will begin its 2011-12 season with tryouts and practice on Friday, Sept. 30, from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Kettler Capitals Iceplex in Ballston.

The team is open to George Mason High School students from grades 9-12. However, students in 8th grade will also be considered for participating in team practices. To register for the tryouts or obtain additional information, contact info@masonhockey.org before Monday, Sept. 12. The GMHS ice hockey team is a non-profit organization funded by players, parents and patrons. Visit www.masonhockey.org for additional information.
