Best Pizza: Flippin’ Pizza – 800 W. Broad St. #103, Falls Church

In the 2.2 square miles of the City of Falls Church, there are 10 places where you can get a pizza. That’s a pie every quarter-mile.
So when a joint in F.C. earns Best Pizza bragging rights for two consecutive years, you know they’re slinging some seriously good stuff.
Flippin’ Pizza did just that by hooking up giant, 18″ hand-tossed, pies using only the highest quality ingredients and dough made from scratch daily at their location in the ‘Flower Building’ on Broad St.
The New York-style pizza is available in both red and white pies that run the topping spectrum from an all-veggie option topped with green peppers, black olives, onions, mushrooms and garlic, or, if you’re feeling particularly carnivorous, there’s the Triboro with pepperoni, sausage and meatballs.
In addition to putting out the cheesey goods, Flippin’ is also one of the City’s biggest business community partners. Regularly hosting fundraisers for schools, charities and other organizations, Flippin’ was nominated for F.C. Public School’s 2011 Partner of the Year Award.
“[Fundraising] is a great way for us to give back to the community while gaining awarness for our location at the same time,” says Flippin’ president Mike Brumagin. “It is a true win-win.”
