It’s that delightful reprieve our stomachs force us to take from our daily grind. For Falls Church, the best place to take that break and give the mind and body what it deserves is at Clare and Don’s Beach Shack.

The beach-inspired décor is sure to settle even the most work-stressed individuals, giving them a little coastal retreat even in the City. Weekday lunch specials, at less than $7.50 a plate, are also a delight to those looking to treat themselves but not break the bank.

“We have a very eclectic lunch crowd that ranges from moms’ groups to business people to retirees to talent from the State Theater,” Clare and Don’s Owner Rebecca Tax said.

While lunchtime may be fleeting, the fun atmosphere at Clare and Don’s gives customers what they need to get through the day, and keeps them coming back for their mid-day getaway.
