In a world of big, big gyms, clients and members of the Vantage Fitness health club in beautiful downtown Falls Church like it for its boutique and personalized feel, general manager Lisa Hublitz told the News-Press.

That attributed to its winning for Best Health Club in the News-Press Best of Falls Church competition last summer, and for its repeating this time around, as well.

Memberships have been steadily growing, she said, due in part to the exhaustive efforts of membership director Jeffrey Garofalo, a mainstay at local Chamber of Commerce functions, and on-going efforts by Vantage to reach out to the Falls Church community with fundraising and sponsorship efforts.

“We are always looking to become a more integral part of the community,” Hublitz said, noting that she’s been back the last two years after living in Falls Church 20 years ago. “We really love being here,” she said. “Falls Church is such a unique and wonderful place. We are very happy.”

Apparently Falls Church feels the same away about Vantage Fitness. Hublitz is right to call Vantage “a secret gem in Falls Church.”
