Best of Falls Church: Best Burger – Elevation Burger

With the slogan “Ingredients Matter,” Elevation Burger puts as much thought into what goes into your burger as to what goes on it.

With the slogan “Ingredients Matter,” Elevation Burger puts as much thought into what goes into your burger as to what goes on it.

The burgers at Elevation are made with 100% grass-fed, free-range beef that’s ground in-house. As for the fries, the fresh-cut spuds are cooked in 100% olive oil.

That attention to quality is just one of the reasons readers voted Elevation as best burger for the second year in a row.

Those outside of F.C. are taking notice, too.

Founder Hans Hess opened Elevation Burger in Falls Church in 2005 and since then, 17 more of the burger joints have opened worldwide (yes, worldwide – there’s a location in Kuwait). With plans to have 25-30 restaurants open by the end of the year, they’re showing no sign of slowing down.

“We just debuted a new Elevation Burger prototype at our newest location in Germantown, that features a cast iron griddle,” says Elevation’s James Stewart.

“Not only does the food taste hotter and fresher, but it also creates predictable wait times and allows the restaurant to handle higher volumes.”

What are the best selling items at the F.C. spot? Stewart says it’s The Elevation Burger (a double meat and double cheese number) and their thick, hand-scooped, real ice cream shakes.

Non-meat eaters have no fear- you can still get your burger on at Elevation with their two veggie options (including a vegan patty).
