When it comes to the best spot for brunch, readers have picked a spot where brunch is essentially served at any hour.

The Original Pancake House is part of a larger chain of restaurants that specializes in a wide assortment of breakfast foods – not to mention pancakes, those light and fluffy rounds of delight which, whether slathered in syrup or packed with fruit, have become a breakfast staple.

According to Ezgard Alvaraeo, the restaurant’s assistant manager, the great food and atmosphere, as well as the reasonable prices, keep customers coming back for more.

The restaurant, which used to be located on West Broad, made the move last November to its new Lee Highway location, and its loyal patrons have found their way to the new spot. According to Alvaraeo, they keep the restaurant busy, especially during the weekends at those peak brunching hours.
