F.C. Woman Assaulted at Employment Agency

A woman was allegedly forced to watch pornography, then sexually assaulted as she sought employment help from the World Employment Agency in Annandale on July 7. The 41-year-old Falls Church-area woman suffered non life-threatening injuries when she was reportedly assaulted by an agency employee around 9 a.m. at 7601 Little River Turnpike.

The incident occurred after the victim was reportedly locked in a room and told to watch a video depicting sexually explicit acts. She fled the building after telling the 72-year-old perpetrator that she needed to use the restroom.

Police investigated and charged Choon Sik Lee of 7717 Lafayette Forrest Drive, Annandale with two counts of attempted forcible sodomy on July 9, 2011.

Detectives also uncovered a second incident that allegedly took place at around 8:30 a.m. on May 19 under similar circumstances. The 28-year-old Fairfax City woman involved in this case also suffered non life-threatening injuries.

Based on their investigation, detectives believe there may be additional women who have not yet reported incidents involving the arrestee and the World Employment Agency. Victims should contact Detective Amy Palizzi at 703-246-7818. If they do not speak English, interpretation services will be provided.
