Mason Grad Gets Degree from Princeton

elena-diplomaElena Martinez (George Mason High School Class of 2007) graduated from Princeton University on May 31 with a degree in ecology and evolutionary biology and a certificate in Spanish language and culture. She begins a two-year High Meadows Foundation fellowship with The Food Project in Boston on Aug. 1.

The Food Project is a non-profit organization which aims to engage young people in social change through sustainable agriculture. Elena was a member of Princeton’s varsity lightweight crew team, which received a silver medal at the national competition in early June.
