F.C.’s Theisz to Oversee VPIS Concerts in the Park

Local resident and business leader Dr. Gordon Theisz is again overseeing the Village Preservation & Improvement Society’s Concerts in the Park series in Falls Church’s Cherry Hill Park. The free concerts will take place Thursdays at 7 p.m. from June 23 through August 4. Performers include the Falls Church Concert Band, Tom Principato, Andrew Acosta and the New Old Time String Band, Bad Hair Day, Chronic Fund Disorder, Mama Tried (Randy Barrett and Dede Wyland), and Big Tow. Artwork from Falls Church Arts artists will also be on display during the concerts. The concerts are co-sponsored by VPIS and the City of Falls Church.
