Mason Students Take Honors For Spanish Exam Scores

George Mason High School students ranked among the top scorers in the competitive National Spanish Exam. Earlier this year, a total of 125,915 students participated in the online version of the exam.

For Spanish 1, Grace Castillo and Scott Connuck won silver and Mary Keenan won bronze.

For Spanish 2, Arijeet Sensharma won gold; Alexandra Smith, Benjamin Cohen, Darby Quave, Jonathan Gilmour, Maya Blurton, Quinn Sheehy, Rebecca Sarfati and Soravit Sophastienphong won silver; and Jackson Dubro and Osé Djan won bronze.

For Spanish 3, Eva Reynolds, and Maeve Curtin won gold; Claire Trevisan, Sterling Askin, Vijay Menon and Alexandra Marple won silver; and Paul Sanders won bronze.
For Spanish 4, Hannah Beaman won gold and Zoe Goodwin won silver.

For Spanish 5, Michael Irvine and Anuraag Sensharma won gold, Lia Cattaneo and Matthew Irvine won bronze.
