1Hope Gives Gift of Toiletries to Shelter Residents

The men and women receiving emergency services from Volunteers of America Chesapeake’s Bailey’s Crossroads Community Shelter in Falls Church were surprised by a gift April 12 as volunteers from 1Hope brought the shelter’s residents individually wrapped packages of essential items including shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste and razors.

The men and women receiving emergency services from Volunteers of America Chesapeake’s Bailey’s Crossroads Community Shelter in Falls Church were surprised by a gift April 12 as volunteers from 1Hope brought the shelter’s residents individually wrapped packages of essential items including shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste and razors.

These items are needed by the adults receiving a variety of services at Bailey’s Crossroads Community Shelter including medical care, mental health services, substance abuse counseling, education and training.
