Boys Varsity Tennis
After a postponed match against Stonewall Jackson High School, the boys varsity tennis team played at Heritage High School and won, 7-2, Friday. Sophomore Tommy Weber earned man of the match, having won all 10 games in his match to earn a point for Mason. Karl Campanella-Dysart, Sam Waters and Kan Tagami each earned additional points for winning their matches. Mason swept the doubles, earning three points for winning all three matches with the efforts of Tagami and Rodock, Weber and Campanella-Dysart, and Waters and Nate Jones.
The winning continued at home with a 9-0 victory against Kettle Run High School Tuesday where Weber was again named man of the match. All Mason players – Tagami, Rodock, Campanella-Dysart, Weber, Jones and Waters – won their singles matches, and the repeating doubles teams earned three more points with their match wins.
Their next match will be at home, April 4, against Freedom High School at 4 p.m.
Girls Varsity Tennis
The girls varsity tennis team suffered defeat at home Friday against Heritage High School. They lost, 2-7. They will play again April 4, against Freedom High School at 4 p.m.
Girls Varsity Softball
After a cancelled game against Freedom High School set for March 24, the girls varisty softball team won’t play until April 5 in a home game against Kettle Run High School at 5 p.m.
Boys Varsity Lacrosse
The boys varsity lacrosse team suffered two losses this past week – one Friday in a home game against Hayfield Secondary School, 7-9, and another Tuesday, 2-20, at Kettle Run High School. The next game for the boys will be a game tomorrow at Freedom High School at 7:30 p.m.
Girls Varsity Lacrosse
After a 5-14 loss Monday at home against West Potomac High School, the girls varsity lacrosse team will play again tomorrow at 6 p.m., in a game against Freedom High School.
