Jody’s Jam of the Week: 5th Annual Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Festival

It’s been awhile, but we have another food Jam for you this week. It’s a bit of a hike, but when the words “beer,” “bourbon,” and “barbecue” come together, you better believe it’s worth it.

This weekend, the 5th Annual Beer, Bourbon and BBQ Festival is set to rock your face and belly off at the Maryland State Fairgrounds. I know, 5th annual? And you’re just now finding out about it. Couldn’t agree more. Anyway, quit lamenting those four lost booze and food fests and get a load of what you can feast on this Friday and Saturday: an all-you-can-taste extravaganza with over 60 craft beers, 40 bourbons, and silly amounts of barbecue. And, while you’re getting your eat and drink on, there will be a bunch of bands, games (including a Daisy Duke contest), movies, cornhole tourney and a whole lot more.

Combine all that goodness with a portion of the proceeds going to The Giving Spirits Foundation, and you couldn’t keep us away with a stick.

What: 5th Annual Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Festival

When: Friday, April 1, 5:30 – 9:30 p.m.; Saturday, April 2, 2 – 6 p.m.

Where: Cow Palace, Maryland State Fairgrounds, 2200 York Rd, Timonium, MD
