Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington has announced the nominees for its 2011 Rammy awards, and two local restaurants have been nominated.

Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington has announced the nominees for its 2011 Rammy awards, and two local restaurants have been nominated. In a list composed mainly of big-city favorites, 2941 and Pizzeria Orso are among the few eateries located outside of Washington, D.C. to be nominated. Pizzeria Orso has been nominated in the New Restaurant of the Year category. 2941 is up for two honors, as they have been nominated in the Wine Program of the Year category, and head chef Bertrand Chemel is in the running for Chef of the Year.
