F.C. Budget Session Thursday, Town Hall Saturday

With Falls Church City Manager Wyatt Shields’ budget recommendation presentation Monday a series of work sessions, Town Hall meetings and public hearings has been slated leading up to the City Council’s final adoption of the budget on April 25. The first work session is tomorrow, Thursday, March 17, at City Hall and is a joint session with the Council, School Board and Planning Commission to receive a financial overview.

Saturday, the public will be invited to comment at a Town Hall meeting on the budget, with some members of the Council present. It will be from 10 a.m. to noon at the Community Center, 223 Little Falls. Next Monday, March 21, the Council will hold another work session to review the budgets for the sheriff and development services. There will be public hearings March 28, April 11 and April 25 and a second Town Hall meeting April 16.
