F.C. Vocalist Performs Senior Recital at Stetson University

Falls Church resident and vocalist Christina Parson performed her senior recital on Jan. 29, at 7:30 p.m., in Lee Chapel in Elizabeth Hall at Stetson University, 421 N. Woodland Blvd., DeLand.

Falls Church resident and vocalist Christina Parson performed her senior recital on Jan. 29, at 7:30 p.m., in Lee Chapel in Elizabeth Hall at Stetson University, 421 N. Woodland Blvd., DeLand.

Parson’s recital program included “Agitata da due venti” by the baroque period composer Antonio Vivaldi, “Wie Nahte mir der Schlummer….Leise, leise” by German Romantic composer C.M. von Weber and the classical work “Op.21 No. 3-6” by Sergei Rachmaninoff.

Parson is a Stetson University Concerto Competition Winner. She is also the recipient of the Earnest Murphy Vocal Scholarship and the William Puckwitz Talent Scholarship, and is completing a Bachelor of Music in the performance area of voice. The soprano vocalist is the daughter of Monika and Ronald Parson. She is expected to graduate in May.
