VPIS Announces First Shows of Spring Home Concert Series

VPIS has announced the first two of the spring series for its Home Concert Program.

VPIS has announced the first two of the spring series for its Home Concert Program.

These concerts feature local musicians performing in the home of a Falls Church City resident.

Eric Waters and Judy Thompson, a guitar and violin duo who play unique interpretations of traditional classical jazz standards as well as original compositions, will perform Feb. 26 as part of the series.

The Veronneau Band, an acoustic Latin Jazz and Gypsy Swing group led by Quebecoise vocalist Lynn Veronneau and accompanied by the twin acoustic guitars of Ken Avis, David Rosenblatt and Pete Walby on percussion, will perform March 19.

Doors open at 7 p.m and concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. Concert location will be given to ticket purchasers after receipt of payment. Tickets are $25 ($20 for VPIS members). For reservations, contact Bruce Turner at 703-608-1948 or email turnerblues@gmail.com.
