Falls Church City Manager Wyatt Shields addresses residents at a Town Hall Meeting held earlier today at the F.C. Community Center. Shields and F.C. City Schools Superintendent Lois Berlin gave brief overviews of the City and School budget for the coming fiscal year and answered questions from F.C. residents.

Today’s meet was the first in a series of budget development meetings; additional meetings have been scheduled for this Monday, Jan. 31, at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, March 19, at 10 a.m. and Saturday, April 16, at 10 a.m. All meetings will be held in the Teen Center in the Community Center, located at 223 Little Falls St. The Council is expected to adopt its FY12 budget in a meeting at City Hall on April 25 beginning at 7:30 p.m.
