DECA Students to Host Event to Create Gifts for Sunrise Residents

Falls Church High School Fashion Marketing-DECA students will host a SHINE (Students Helping Improve Neighborhoods through Education) event at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 29, to create Forever Flowers that they will present to residents of Sunrise of Falls Church, an assisted living residence.

Falls Church High School Fashion Marketing-DECA students will host a SHINE (Students Helping Improve Neighborhoods through Education) event at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 29, to create Forever Flowers that they will present to residents of Sunrise of Falls Church, an assisted living residence.

This community service event will provide students with the opportunity to support their community as well as understand the effects of Alzheimer’s disease on some members of the community.

Local businesses Trader Joe’s and Giant Food will provide food for the event.
