‘Passport to the World’ Offers Music, Dance, Art

Through March 6, Creative Cauldron will present “Passport to the World: A Festival of Music, Dance, Art and Story.” Audiences will be invited to take a cross-cultural journey and experience the musical and artistic traditions of Eastern Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America.

Through March 6, Creative Cauldron will present “Passport to the World: A Festival of Music, Dance, Art and Story.” Audiences will be invited to take a cross-cultural journey and experience the musical and artistic traditions of Eastern Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America.

Music and dance troupes will perform on Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m. These performances will be preceded by free dance workshops and demonstrations at 4 p.m. on select Saturdays.

Sunday afternoons will feature family-friendly afternoon puppet and story theater presentations.

Tickets for performances are $15 for adults and $12 for students and seniors, and $5 for puppet and story theater events.

“Passport to the World” kicked off with the opening of the annual Falls Church Arts All-Member Exhibit, featuring works by 60 local artists that reflects the artists’ travels (here or abroad, imagined or real) or the influence that other cultures have had on their work.

Gallery hours through March 6 will be Thursdays from 6 – 8 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays from 5 – 7 p.m., and Sundays from 4 – 6 p.m. (excluding Feb. 13).

Events will be held ArtSpace, 410 S. Maple Ave., Falls Church.
