Jody’s Jam of the Week: DC Winter Restaurant Week

Kicking off this Monday is the popular D.C. Winter Restaurant Week. Yes, I know it’s just a week after I recommended a competitive eating contest, but surely you’ve recoved by now. It’d be a shame to miss out on one of best dining experiences in the area because of too many tacos.

Anyway, for the uninformed, Restaurant Week is the glorious occasion when the area’s top food spots offer up their grub at a fraction of the regular cost. This time, over 200 restaurants in D.C., Maryland and Virginia will be dishing up three-course meals; only $20.11 for lunch, $35.11 for dinner.

This go-round, four restaurants in Falls Church are particiapting: 2941, Argia’s, Open Kitchen and Pizzeria Orso. If you’re venturing outside the F.C., I recommend hitting up one (or more) of these outstanding spots: Bourbon Steak in the Four Seasons downtown, the Grille at Morrison House in Old Town Alexandria, The Palm in D.C. and Willow in Arlington.

Restaurant Week starts next Monday, January 17 and runs through Sunday, January 23.

See washington.org/restaurantwk for complete list of participating restaurants
