The new Foundation for Fairfax County Public Schools launched at a news conference on Tuesday, Jan. 4, at the Gatehouse Administration Center.

A partnership of the Fairfax Chamber of Commerce and Fairfax County Public Schools, the foundation will be a vehicle for the community to support education.

Donations may be either directed to a specific school or schools, invested in the general fund, used to create or expand a program, or contribute to the endowment.
