Northern Virginia Community College’s Green Club will hold its first annual Eco Rage, an environmentally friendly dance party, this week.

The event will be held in the cafeteria of NOVA’s Annandale Campus, also known as the CF building, located at 8333 Little River Turnpike, Annandale.

Eco Rage will be held Friday, Dec. 3, from 7:30 p.m. to midnight in an effort to unite students and members of the community behind environmental causes, such as recycling. The Green Club has also invited other student groups and clubs to participate and show their support for the cause.

The cost is $5 at the door, which will go to the participating student clubs so they can further the movement to lessen NOVA’s environmental impact.

Food, provided by the African Caribbean Student Association for a suggested donation, will raise funds to sponsor environmental and empowerment projects in African through the charity Africare.

For more information, email nova.greenclub@gmail.com or call Green Club President Jessica Miller at (703) 909 6655.
