F.C. Neighbors Angered as 6 Parking Spaces Removed

Neighbors at the intersection of S. Virginia Ave., James Ct. and James St. are angered by a move to eliminate at least six parking spaces at the intersection which have been marked as legal parking spots for more than 25 years. New “No Parking Here to Corner” signs were planted ahead of the six spots last week, and tickets were written to those parking in those spaces early the next day, all without warning to the residents. There has never been an accident at the intersection, according to residents.

A formal request for an explanation delivered to City Hall has gone without a response for 10 days, as of press time.
