Facilities Advisory Work Group Begins Duties Tomorrow

Just barely a week after its creation by the Falls Church City School Board, the Facilities Advisory Work Group meets tomorrow night to continue the division’s work, now in its third year, of deciding how best to meet the facility challenges of a growing enrollment, F.C. City Schools Communications Specialist John Brett reported yesterday.

City Schools Communications SpecialistJohn Brett reported yesterday.

The work group, composed of F.C. School Board, City Council and Planning Commission members, holds its first meeting Thursday night at 7 p.m. in the Thomas Jefferson Elementary School (601 S. Oak St., Falls Church) library.

The agenda for the meeting and supporting documents are found at www.fccps.org/facilitystudy. The webpage, which has been a clearinghouse for all F.C. City Public Schools facility study information since work began in 2008, also contains all matters related to the Facilities Advisory Work Group.
