City of Falls Church, Va. Crime Report for June 22 – June 28, 2010

Larceny from Building, 120 N Virginia Ave, June 22, 3:18 p.m., unknown person(s) stole cash from a cabinet inside an office.

Destruction of Property, 200 blk. E. Fairfax St., June 23, 10:07 p.m., unknown person(s) punched a window out of a blue Oldsmobile that was located in the parking lot.  Suspect is described as a white male, who fled in an older model red vehicle.

Larceny from Building, 300 blk. N. Underwood St., June 24, 8:00 p.m., unknown person(s) stole a blue purse from the location.  The purse contained $70 cash, checks totaling $2,050, a camera, and keys.

Driving Under the Influence, 1000 blk W. Broad St., June 25, 1:52 a.m., police arrested a female, 22, of Woodbridge, VA., for DUI.

Larceny from Vehicle, 400 blk. W. Broad St., between June 25, 7:00 p.m., and June 26, 6:21 p.m., unknown person entered an unlocked vehicle, and stole a garage door opener from the center console.

Larceny from Building, 1230 W. Broad St., Giant Food Store, June 27, 4:43 p.m., unknown person(s) stole a wallet from a customer’s purse.  The wallet contained several credit cards, which were subsequently used at various locations to make unauthorized purchases.

Driving Under the Influence, 1000 blk. Ellison St., June 27, 7:00 p.m., police arrested a male, 62, of Falls Church, VA., for DUI.
