F.C. Public Works Helps Repair 12″ Water Main Break

Falls Church City public works crew worked to repair a 12″ water main break in the Tysons Corner area yesterday. A contractor working on a transportation project in the area broke the main, it appeared, which caused limited water outages in the area until repairs were made late in the evening, City officials said. The crew was working 16 feet in the ground, their feet covered with muddy water with outside temperatures above 90 degrees.
