FALLS CHURCH HIGH

The Falls Church High School baseball team fell to Hayfield 7-0 and Oakton 19-2 last week. The team hosts Washington and Lee on Tuesday at 6 p.m.

The Jaguar softball team welcomes Washington and Lee on Tuesday at 6 p.m.

Boys soccer fell to Washington and Lee 2-0 last week, and plays at home on Monday at 7 p.m. against Annandale. The girls team lost to Washington and Lee 8-1 last week and hosts Annandale on Monday at 5:30 p.m.

Boys lacrosse team is at Edison at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, and the girls lacrosse team is at Centreville on Monday at 7:15 p.m.

The boys tennis team lost to Wakefield 6-3 last week, and is at home against Stuart on Wednesday at 4 p.m. The girls team is at Stuart at 4 p.m. on Wednesday.

Track and field is at the Sixth Annual Beach Run Invitational in Myrtle Beach on Saturday.

GEORGE C. MARSHALL HIGH

The Marshall High School baseball team defeated Fairfax 12-8 last week, but fell to Woodson 13-0. The squad welcomes Thomas Jefferson on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

Statesmen softball welcomes Thomas Jefferson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Marshall boys soccer team fell to T.C. Williams 1-0 last week, and is at home against Mount Vernon on Tuesday at 7 p.m. Girls soccer is at Mount Vernon on Tuesday at 6 p.m.

Boys lacrosse returns to action Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at Yorktown, and girls lacrosse is at home on Monday at 7:15 against McLean.

Boys tennis is at home against Langley on Monday at 3:30 p.m., and the girls team is at Langley.

Marshall track and field is at South lakes on Tuesday at 5 p.m.

GEORGE MASON HIGH

The Mason High School girls tennis team laid the hammer to Stonewall Jackson last week, winning 9-0. The boys team was also victorious 5-4. The girls are at home on Monday against Potomac Falls at 5 p.m., and the boys hit the road to Potomac Falls on Monday for a 5 p.m. match.

The Mustang baseball team is at Rappahannock County High Tuesday at 7 p.m. The softball squad lost to Wakefield 14-8, and is at Stuart Monday at 5 p.m.

Girls soccer fell to Loudoun Valley 6-0 last week, and is at Rappahannock County High on Tuesday. Boys soccer is at South Lakes at 7 p.m.

Boys lacrosse is at Eastern View on Monday at 6:30 p.m., and the girls team is at home against Eastern View on Monday at 7:15 p.m.

Mason track and field opens its season Wednesday at Manassas Park at 4:30 p.m.

 

J.E.B. STUART HIGH

The baseball team fell to Mount Vernon 15-7, and is at Wakefield on Tuesday at 6 p.m. The softball squad is at home on Monday for a 6 p.m. game against Mason.

The boys soccer team defeated Yorktown 2-0 last week, and returns to the field on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at home against Madison. The girls squad fell to Yorktown 2-0, and faces Madison on the road on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

Boys lacrosse is at home against Lee on Wednesday at 6 p.m., and the girls team is at Lee on Wednesday at 6 p.m.

The girls tennis team defeated Hayfield 5-1 last week, and returns to the court on Wednesday at home against Falls Church at 4 p.m.

Boys tennis is at Falls Church on Wednesday at 4 p.m.

Track and field is at Hayfield on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.

MCLEAN HIGH

The McLean High School baseball team laid the wood to Thomas Jefferson last week, winning 12-0. The team was at the Lions Club Invitational in San Diego, and returns home on Tuesday to face South Lakes at 6:30 p.m.

Not to be outdone, the Highlander softball squad dominated Thomas Jefferson 15-1 last week. The squad is at a tournament in Myrtle Beach, and returns home on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. to face South Lakes.

McLean’s girls soccer team defeated Centreville 1-0 last week off a second-half goal by junior Melissa Downey. Senior Logan Tapscott added eight saves in goal. The team is at Hayfield on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

Boys soccer tied Centreville 1-1 last week, and hosts Hayfield on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

Boys lacrosse fell to Thomas Jefferson 7-3 last week, and welcomes Marshall on Monday at 7:30 p.m. The girls team lost to Thomas Jefferson 6-4 last week, and is at Marshall on Monday at 7:15 p.m.

Boys tennis lost to Thomas Jefferson 7-2 last week, and is at Madison on Monday at 3:30 p.m. The girls tennis team welcomes Madison on Monday at 3:30 p.m.

McLean track and field is at the Leslie Sherman Invitational on Thursday.
