Evans To Be Sworn in Today

Sandy Evans, who was elected Tuesday as Fairfax County’s Mason District school board member, will be sworn in by a judge at 5:30 p.m. today, March 4, at Luther Jackson Middle School in Falls Church.

Once photos are taken of Evans and her family, she will join the county’s School Board for tonight’s meeting.

The meeting’s agenda includes the issue of making up school days missed due to recent snowstorms. Evans had said during her campaign that she supports giving the parent and teacher communities a say into the board’s decision.

Luther Jackson is located at 3020 Gallows Road in Falls Church.
