Falls Church City Public Schools will be closed today, Friday, Feb. 12. A determination about whether schools can open on Monday will be made later this weekend.
Day Care and ASAP will open at 9 a.m. Friday at Thomas Jefferson Elementary School. All evening activities have been cancelled.
As previously reported, F.C. City Hall, the community center, and Mary Riley Styles Library will be open today. Friday refuse will be picked up as scheduled, but not recycling.
City government employees may use unscheduled leave tomorrow) GEORGE bus will not be operating. Visitors to City Hall should use the west wing entrance to avoid snow and ice falling from the roof above the east entrance.
