F. C. Snow Emergency Persists Thursday, Prohibiting Parking on Key Routes

The City of Falls Church told the News-Press today that the Declaration of Snow Emergency remains in effect Thursday as crews try to push back snow and widen intersections. According to the City’s Public Information chief Barbara Gordon, the Emergency declaration may be lifted Friday.

Under the provisions of the emergency, parking is prohibited on the City’s designated Snow Emergency routes, which are the following:

Traffic signs identify which City streets are snow emergency routes.  Vehicles abandoned or parked on snow emergency routes may be towed and fined.
