F.C. City Schools, Government Closed Wednesday

Library & Community Center Closed & GEORGE Bus Service Cancelled Tomorrow

Falls Church City Public Schools and the F.C. City Government will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb. 10, City officials announced today.

In addition, Mary Riley Style Library will close at 5 p.m. today, and will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, along with the F.C. Community Center due to expected accumulating snow fall. The City has also cancelled GEORGE bus service on Wednesday as well.

Because F.C. City Public Schools have exceeded the four snow days built into the school calendar, previously designated school holidays will be used as “make-up” school days. The two make-up days are Monday, February 15 (President’s Day), and Monday, April 12 (Professional Day). Additional makeup days will be determined after the schools resume a normal schedule.

City scheduled trash pickup for Wednesday has been pushed backed to Thursday.
