Jody’s Jam of the Week: August 20 – 26, 2009

Washington, DC Summer Restaurant Week

Once again, the fine dining locales of the D.C. area are opening up their menus and serving up tasty fare at affordable prices for Restaurant Week. Close to 180 spots in D.C., Maryland and Virginia are eager to satisfy your gastronomical cravings with three-course meals specially created for the week long event.

Falls Church favorites Argia’s and 2941 Restaurant are both participating, giving those who haven’t yet, a great opportunity to dine. Also participating in the week’s event includes the sublime Willow in Arlington, intimate Nage in Dupont, the haute Vidalia in northwest D.C., and trendy Vermilion in Old Town Alexandria-  all spots personally vetted by me and worthy of high praise. Washington, DC Summer Restaurant Week, where participating restaurants offer three-course lunches and dinners for $20.09 and $35.09 respectively, begins this Monday and runs through next Sunday.
