Falls Church’s High Point Pool swim team held its annual Progressive Dinner last week, where the 13-year-old swimmers join the ranks of the upperclassmen.

The entire team of 13 to 18 year olds travel house to house during the evening, with a course served at each one.

Also held last week, on Wednesday, July 15, the Northern Virginia Swimming League All-Star Meet saw six teams in all from High Point. Each of the six teams, which included medley and freestyle relays, finished better than their seed placement. Additionally, two pool records were broken; one by the 8-and-under boys and the other by the 15–18 girls.
