Simple Assault, Eden Center, 6763 Wilson Blvd., July 9, 6:39 p.m., police arrested a male, 32, of Silver Spring, MD for assaulting a victim. The victim sustained minor injuries.

Burglary, Commercial, Community Hospice of Virginia, 520 N Washington St., #400, July 9, 6:45 p.m., unknown person(s) attempted to gain entry into the establishment.

Driving under the Influence, 400 blk. Roosevelt Blvd., July 9, 10:13 p.m., police arrested a male, 37, of Falls Church, VA for DUI and Refusal.

Larceny from Vehicle, 200 blk. Hillwood Ave., between July 9, 8:00 p.m. and July 10, 6:51 a.m., unknown person(s) entered a vehicle and stole two bottles of cologne.
