Former Falls Church Resident Joan Miers Dies

Former long-time Falls Church City resident Joan Miers died in Emporia, Virginia, on Jan. 13. Four of her’s and surviving husband Donovan Miers’ children went through the Falls Church school system, including two still living, Linda Fauteux of Herndon and Jeff Miers of Chantilly. Services were held last Saturday at the Fourth Presbyterian Church in Bethesda.
