Jody’s Jam of The Week

Clifton Haunted Trail, October 27, 7 – 10 p.m., Clifton, VA

It’s Halloween time and with October 31 less than a week away, it’s about time you started getting into the mood. While there are plenty of haunted hay rides, houses and attractions claiming to be able to scare you silly, I hear that the Clifton Haunted Trail just down the road is a winner. Can you make it through without letting out a girlish (or manish) shriek? There’s only one way to find out, so best get on moving to the Town of Clifton this Saturday, as this is strictly a one-night affair. Be warned, however, this jaunt down the trail is not for young children or those who are apt to soil their drawers at the slightest of surprises. Sturdy shoes are recommended. How else are you going to get away from a chain saw with a twisted ankle?
