Destruction of Property, 300 W. Columbia St., August 26, 9:08 p.m., unknown person(s) slashed the tire on a gold Toyota that was parked on the street.
Motor Vehicle Theft, Rent-A-Wreck, 1101 W. Broad St., August 29, 1:45 p.m., male suspect rented a Nissan Altima and failed to return the vehicle. Incident to the case, on August 30, Fairfax County police was involved in a pursuit with this vehicle. Police arrested a male, 48, and a female, 40, of Centreville, VA for Motor Vehicle Theft.
Robbery, 1100 blk. W. Broad St., August 29, 9:46 p.m., unknown person(s) grabbed victim from behind by the neck in a choke hold on the bike trail. The victim began yelling very loud and dropped to the ground. The unknown person(s) immediately released victim and fled the area traveling north bound on the bike trail toward West End Park. The suspect is described as a W/M, 5`8" to 5`10", wearing a white baseball cap.

Larceny, 7 Corners Shell, 6623 Wilson Blvd., August 31, 5:15 p.m., unknown person(s) pumped $58.15 worth of unleaded gasoline and drove off without paying for it. Incident to the case, police tracked down the subject(s) who returned to the establishment to pay for the gasoline.
