26th Annual Washington Folk Festival, June 2 from 12 pm – 7 pm, Glen Echo, MD

 This weekend, the 27th Annual Washington Folk Festival is taking place featuring music, dance, storytelling and more from artists throughout Washington, Northern Virginia and Maryland. This free festival is an all volunteer event and will be held, rain or shine, on Saturday and Sunday at historic Glen Echo Park in Maryland. Song and dance performances, arts and crafts workshops and story telling will take place on seven stages in the park. This year’s event is sponsored by the Folklore Society of Greater Washington, Glen Echo Park Partnership for Art and Culture, The National Park Service, Montgomery County, the Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County and WAMU 88.5 FM.
