20th Annual Taste of Arlington, Sunday, May 20th in Ballston

Taste of ArlingtonAnother weekend and another gastronomical adventure for area residents. On Sunday, the streets of Ballston will be a flood with restaurants dishing out their best eats at the 20th Annual Taste of Arlington. Taking place rain or shine, there will be over 30 local eateries to choose from including Arlington favorites Carlyle, Ragtime, Willow, Tallula, Falls Church’s own Argia’s and Clare and Don’s, and many more. In addition to the tasty dishes served up, the event will also feature a collection of live entertainment, bands and children’s activities. While admission is free, and you can get all the smells you want without opening a wallet, you’re gonna have to fork over some bucks to actually taste the goods. Books of six “tastes” will run you $20 until this Thursday, and then will be available for $25 the day of the event. Proceeds from the Taste of Arlington will benefit Community Residences, Inc., a local non-profit organization, assisting people with a wide variety of disabilities to live independently in the community.
