 A BENEFIT “EVENING OF JAZZ” at the State Theatre in Falls Church last week raised over $30,000 for the City’s Winter Emergency Homeless Shelter. The City’s rich and famous hob-nobbed, bid on silent and live auction items and enjoyed an evening organized by Stacy Hennessey of Stacy’s Coffee. It was launched with an after-school concert by Basmati, a band of four promising sophomores from George Mason High School, who raised $700 during its segment.
