A COOL MILLION

HE WON! HE WON! HE WON! Falls Church City school employee Tim O’Connell (right) is shown here with his son, James (left), who along with James’ pal Tyler cashed in on a cool $1 million by winning CBS TV’s “The Amazing Race” show that concluded last Sunday night. James, now 27, is a Hollywood model and will come to Falls Church later this month for the holidays. The taping of the show concluded last June, but James was sworn to secrecy until the final episode aired this week. James and Tyler won a race from Paris to Manhattan to a remote private academy north of New York City over two other teams in the finals. James and Tyler were fortuitously picked up by a cab driver at JFK Airport who, thanks to an E-Z Pass, sailedacross the bridge into Manhattan, while the team on their tail had to stall at the toll booth. Also shown in the recent photo above here is little brother Liam.
