F.C. Vehicle Verification Forms Due August 1

by Grace Hodgman

The 2016 Vehicle Verification Form was sent to every vehicle owner in the City of Falls Church. This is a chance for vehicle owners to update the DMV and Commissioner of the Revenue’s databases. It is not a bill. The form that was sent to vehicle owners in the city had the incorrect due date. The due date is August 1.

This information will drive the Personal Property Tax bill, which is due October 5. Common updates are high mileage credit requests, changes to vehicle ownership, whether it was bought, sold, or totaled and changes in City resident status. The form does not need to be returned if there were no changes.
