Spacebar is now offering beer-to-go in mason jars. Sixteen-ounce jars are available for the price of the craft beers on tap plus an initial $1 deposit to encourage customers to bring the jars back to be refilled. The mini-growlers have Spacebar stickers specifying that the beer is meant for consumption at home and an airtight seal around the lid as required by Virginia Alcohol Beverage Control.
Spacebar, which is owned and operated by Lary and Erica Hoffman who also own Galaxy Hut in Arlington, is located at 709 W. Broad Street in Falls Church.
