Mason Scholastic Bowl Team Wins District Tourney

The George Mason Scholastic Bowl team won the Bull Run District Tournament on Saturday at Rappahannock County High School. The Mustangs defeated Madison County, Clarke County, and Manassas Park high school teams to reach the finals, then beat Manassas Park in a rematch in the final game to take the title. The team will be moving on to the Region B Tournament on Saturday, Feb. 2, also at Rappahannock County High School, as they attempt to return to the state tournament for the 12th consecutive year.
