Longtime Columbia Baptist Church Member Dies at 89

Julia Margaret Ruddle, a resident of Falls Church since 1942, passed peacefully on Saturday, Sept. 24, at her home in Falls Church.

She is survived by two daughters, four sons, 19 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

She was a member of the Columbia Baptist Church for over 60 years and was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 201 and a member of the Order of the Amaranth.

She was 89 and in her earlier years greatly enjoyed her flower and vegetable gardens. She was also a very avid supporter of church and school functions.
