Babe Ruth League Teams Begin State Tournament Print E-mail

All three of 2009 Falls Church-Annandale Babe Ruth League baseball teams have won their respective district tournaments and are set to advance to the state level.

Annandale---15U-FCABR-All-S

The 13 and under team began state play last Thursday, July 16 in Fisherville, Va. The team roster includes Jordy Corcino, Trevor Hobbs, Colton Hodge, Alex Lash, Evan Lum, David Mathis, Joey Roby, Miguel Rodriguez, Matt Rudzinski, Paul Stewart, Vincent Kanyan, Sam Lebryk and Ethan Anderson (not pictured).

The 13 and under team is managed by David Mathis and his two assistant coaches, Don Rudzinski and Bryan Kanyan.

The 14 and under team began state play July 16 in Colonial Heights, Va. Their team roster includes C.J. Aftergut, Daniel Becker, Brandon Charters, Christopher Clayton, Michael Evans, Jens Freese, Liam Glennon, Jack Gomersall, Hayden Hall, Jacob Kniatt, Matt Stevens and John Todd.

The 14 and under team is managed by Bobby Hall and his two assistant coaches, Mark Gomersall and Dave Todd.

The 15 and under team began state play July 16, as they hosted this year's 15U Virginia State Tournament at Annandale High School. Their team roster includes Casey Duncan, Kelly Duncan, Jon Freeman, Jack Trainor, Zack Brooks, William Nixon, Charlie DiGuilian, Joseph Pearring, Nate Morrison, Jeremy Leopold, Ethan Leventhal and Kieren Snow-Dawson.

The 15 and under team is managed by Joe Duncan and his two assistant coaches, Patrick Connole and Charlie DiGuilian.
