Vanessa Pham, the 19-year-old woman murdered June 27, will be laid to rest this Wednesday at National Memorial Park in Falls Church following a funeral at Vienna Presbyterian Church.

A viewing for friends and family will take place tomorrow at King David Memorial Garden (482 Lee Hwy., Falls Church) from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Born Jan. 22, 1991 in Fairfax, Pham is the daughter of Julie Pham of Falls Church. She grew up in Fairfax and Vienna, attending Marshall Road Elementary and Thoreau Middle School before graduating from James Madison High School in 2009. Pham won a Distinguished Senior Award for outstanding achievement in fine arts at James Madison High, an obituary printed by The Washington Post reports. She had just completed her freshman year at the Savannah College of Art and Design.

Pham is survived by her mother, Julie; her maternal grandmother, aunts, uncles and cousins. “She was a vibrant, loving and devoted daughter and friend,” the obituary goes on to say.

The Vienna Inn restaurant (120 Maple Ave. E, Vienna) will donate 20 percent of its proceeds made today to the Vanessa Pham Memorial Fund to help with the costs of her funeral Wednesday.
